Christmas Will Be Fun This Year

This will be a special Christmas. Why? Because although the technology has changed a lot since the Great Depression, people will most likely doing without this year for the most part. I wish that I could afford an iPhone or a new car or even a few nice clothes. Like in that TV movie, "The Homecoming: A Christmas Story" (about the Waltons), a lot of people will just have to settle for the love of family and friends to get them by. And that's how it should be anyway, right?
